About Me

World Next Door is a locally-owned small business in downtown Chattanooga, TN. Our desire is to connect artisans in developing nations with customers in the United States and Canada by offering an inventory of entirely fairly-traded products.

But more than that, this business is an extension of our lives. We believe that the world is a fascinating place full of the beauty of God and man. But we also recognize that over a billion people live in extreme poverty. One small way for us to reconcile these two truths is to promote fair trade, and to use our business as a tool for change. We hope to start conversations, offer food for thought, and develop relationships with those we serve both in our store and in artisan communities overseas.

Please visit us in our store in downtown Chattanooga:
