About Me

You may recognize some of these dancers from all over the Southeast, and beyond. But be sure to visit us in Chattanooga. And if you're not familiar with contra, it is swing-style dancing to a live band in Chattanooga approximately twice a month: http://www.contranooga.org/schedule.shtml. Beginners can catch on fast, if you just don't worry about screwing up in the company of strangers who end up to be your friends. And for those of us dance gypsies who really gotta dance, contra is all over the country. This website is a way for us to keep in touch with our buddies who contra, waltz, belly dance, swing, freestyle and do ballroom and ballet. It is also a way for us to give and get photos from our gypsy adventures. The latest photos are from Moondance, LEAF and Richard Powers Waltz Weekend. The rest are most likely from the various Chattanooga contra dances and get togethers. Also, on this page, you are listening to a song by our band, Gypsy Muse!..
