Songwriter, vocalist and guitarist, Lana, writes unapologetically honest autobiographical blues, rock and folk songs. She is influenced by her experience as a print, broadcast and online journalist, and from her days in Atlanta grunge bands. A Chattanooga-based radio news producer, freelance writer, graphic artist, personal trainer and yoga instructor, her day jobs have been primarily in the news departments of TV and radio stations, newspapers and magazines.
Rhythm guitarist and sound engineer, Art, is an acoustic gypsy and technical prodigy, who avidly enjoys his freedom from single-track careers. The former Georgia Tech electrical, aerospace and mechanical research engineer and commercial airline pilot has written a "Rockets & Robots" curriculum that he teaches to gifted children in the summer. He is producing and engineering Muses' first CD, which will be available on MySpace in 2008.
Drummer Mike Kelley is a 33 year-old web designer/graphic designer, who has owned a website since 1994, and designed sites since 1995. He is a college-trained percussion expert, and has been in bands since age 15, including the groups, Rubber Soul, The Sweaters, Moe Savvy, Third Road and Lana Sutton Project.
