"You don't have to dream at all....Just live a day"

About Me

.. Heya!
I'm Felicity Fyr Le Fay (also known as Flame) an aerial acrobat, dancer/choreographer and artist originally from New Zealand.
With dreams soaring in the stars, I find I constantly get lost in the dark faerytale land inside my head.... Dive into those depths with me!
I fuel my aerial acrobatics, dance and art with the romantic intrigue of life's savage garden and with mythical lore.

Performance Art

Traveling with two international circuses was a fantastic opportunity to see some magical places and create some dynamic performance art. Now, After being contracted to Alton Towers "Magic Of Ice" show as an aerial silk artist, I've nested in the UK.
I love to get my teeth into themed events, performing at Clubs and Theatres as a dancer, with my aerial & fire equipment, & as an actress. Currently I'm developing the Firecracker Circus with two professional circus friends in Lewes. This year I have also become very involved with Children's Entertainment, spreading love of conservation and the natural world through the Faery Realm.
Here's My New Promo Vid.
I am waiting for a little more footage - it's still a work in progress!

Qualifications:
* Diploma in Performing Arts (2 years study)
* Diploma in Circus Arts (2 years study)
* Aerial Professional Development (3 month intensive)
* Diploma in Commercial Broadcasting (6 month intensive)
My studies have included Classical Acting and Voice, Aerial Acrobats, Street Theatre, and Radio Production. Dance training includes ballet, ballroom, latin american, pole and freestyle improvisation.
Writing choreography with a particular story or for a themed event is my specialty.

Fine Art and Costume Creation

When I have spare time (!) I love to oil paint and wire sculpt; design clothing; study myth, ancient history and modern international relations. I'm also writing a novel - but isn't everyone!

Beauty and Art give us hope, and the inspiration to strive for a more magical, peaceful and perfect world. I admire artists, performers and directors who use their media as a tool to convey a message or ideal - romantic or political. I love films that induce contemplation for weeks afterward.
Much of my own art is self and life reflective, born out of great happiness or misery... such is the turbulent nature of the artistic temperament!
"Through dangers untold and hardships unumbered I have fought my way here to the castle beyond the goblin city - to take back the child that you have stolen. My will is as strong as yours and my kingdom is as great. You have NO power over me!"

Photographic and Live Modeling

Working as an artists model is great for mind over matter, but sometimes a harder work out than aerial on the body... it takes a lot of effort to keep that still!
Three years ago I decided to try photographic work also, focusing on fine and alternative art styles. I enjoy working with photographers where the end result is a mutual collaboration, often something a bit dark and edgy, or etherial. I don't feel that scope normally exists in fashion photography. If you'd like to see a full portfolio drop me a line at: [email protected]
Please note I do not partake in glamour or magazine work.
Animal rights and the protection and restoration of the natural world are very important to me. After all my best friend (is) a ferret. Lucifi Weasle has returned to the stars now... we miss you Luci! Myspace Contact Tables

You are FIREFLY! An adventuerous little pony with a "Take no crap" additude. You trademark move is the double inside out loop, and your just an all around awesome little pony!
Take this quiz !

ACE OF CLUBS
You Are the Ace of Clubs
You go at everything in your life full force. You are a natural gambler.
Your life definitely has some extreme highs and lows, but you know how to ride out the low times.

A total adventure seeker, you are never satisfied by what's normal or ordinary.
You like to push limits and shock people. You're dramatic, but a drama queen.

Your life has been a wild ride so far. You have stories that people can barely believe.
And you're probably still young... with a lot of wild rides in front of you.

Your friends would describe you as: Crazy

Your enemies would describe you as: Demented

If you lived in Vegas, you would be: A high roller What Playing Card Are You?

My score on The PREVIOUS INCARNATION Test :

The Woodland Faery
(You scored 23 alien-ness, 89 mythical-ness, 46 angelic-ness, and 26 regal-ness!)

In your last life and many before you were a woodland faery and member of the Seelie Court, Sidhe heirachy. Unlike the Elemental Faerys you were not the guardian spirit of a particular animal or tree but instead of a place. You were very social and loved wild dancing, playing pranks on mortals and creating beauty in the world around you. Or you may have been a mermaid/merman.
At your best you were kind, charasmatic, whimsical and creative. At your worst you were vain, jeleous, tempestuous and dishonest.
In this incarnation your job is again to look after those who are unable to themselves and stand up for the earth and the natural environment. You can promote kindness to children, animals and ask others to protest and stand up for what is right. You are creative and should put those talents to use!

From the brilliant girls kicking ass Japanese anime "SAILOR MOON"!

*Global Warming
*Light, Air,Sewerage, Landfill Pollution
*The Destruction of Natural Areas and Habitat
*Desert Expansion
*Famine

Are symptoms of one problem and one problem only:

HUMAN OVER POPULATION
<

Create more space for the Natural World. Create less Pollution and Waste. HAVE ONE CHILD OR LESS. The Animals are earths children too.

My score on The CIRCUS *STAR* QUALITY Test :

The Flying Stars
(You scored 34 WEIRD, 58 DANGEROUS, 49 STRONG, and 55 BEAUTIFUL!)

(PIC FEATURES DUO VERTIGO, AERIAL DUET)
So breath-takingly gorgeous the opposite sex is afraid to approach you, So perfectly muscled you could save superman from the collapsing Twin Towers, Dangerous enough so scare five roaring tigers and weird enough... well you like leaping off high stuff don't you? YOU ARE THE STAR OF THE SHOW! The audience adores you, the circus staff hate you, the ringmaster lives right up your ass. Everyone will be glad when you leave and we get in that team from Latvia. They can't speak good English so can't be quite as demanding! But fair enough! The epitomy of perfection, exquisite oiled machine that you are you should expect no less than the best. They can kiss your ass, those untalented plebians!

.. .. ..House Number Five- *Positive Traits: Creates Challenge and uninhibited vibrations. *Negative Traits: Envokes arguments and bad tempers. You find yourself constantly changing and not willing to stop, variety is the key word, so the owner has different ideas for every room. House Colours: Rainbow

Music:

I like a bizarre mix of the tragic romantic, ethereal and kick ass rock!

A-ha, Arcadia, Alice Cooper, the Cult, the Cure, Dead Can Dance, Dead Flowers, Deftones, Duran Duran, Enigima, Garbage, Labyrinth Soundtrack, Marilyn Manson, Mestar (a beautiful NZ band),Rammstein, Rob Zombie, Smashing Pumpkins, Suede, System of a Down, Zwan

Particularly any gorgeous 80's music that makes you passionately dream of soaring over cliffs and slitting your wrists: Echo and the Bunnymen, Kate Bush, Real Life, Soft Cell...

Movies:

I love Edward Scissorhands. I am so hopeless - at the beginning when it starts to snow I recall the end and then have to muffle my sobs through the rest of the film!

the Breakfast Club, Donnie Darko, Labyrinth, Legend, the Princess Bride, the Nightmare before Christmas, Rocky Horror Picture Show, What's Eating Gilbert Grape

Minority Report and A.I. are amazing and my favs but also horrific. Why is it that futuristic films are always so sterile. There are never any animals in them, or natural wilderness. And disturbingly the robots in A.I. have more empathy and compassion than the human beings. Is this what we see as 'progress'?

Books:

the Narnia Chronicles, Phillip Pullman's "His Dark Materials", The Mists of Avalon - Marion Zimmer Brady, Children of Green Knowe, the Black Horne - Claire Cooper, Playing Beatie Bow and My Sister Sif - Ruth Park, anything by Edward Rutherford...

Susan Cooper's "The Dark Is Rising" Series is my absolute favourite. It's young adult fiction but for me has been a series of clues relating to my real life mission that I have followed all the way from New Zealand to Cornwall... who knows what magical event will happen next?

Heroes:

Sailor Mars (Aries Fire-Star school girl and shrine maiden who saves the world in Manga's Sailor Moon), Jean Batten (record breaking woman pilot in the days when women were chained to the kitchen), Isadora Duncan (nude and shocking dancer 1920's - died tragically strangled to death when her trademark scarf caught in the wheels of her convertible, David Attenborough, The Amazons Warrior Women of Greece, Venus, Ishtar, Isis and of course Herne and Diana.
