Back in the summer of 1995 many of the now famous music producers and DJ's were debating whether they could be bothered to take their GCSE's or not, spending every spare minute of the day (and night) holed up in their bedrooms, annoying the neighbours as they put their newly acquired 1210's through their paces. Meanwhile, in Brighton, plans were being hatched for a brand new night unlike the otherwise moody haunts of town, somewhere cosmopolitan, creative and free thinking where people could feel comfortable, dress up and enjoy the music.The Pussycat Club was born.Fast forward and the night has gone from strength to strength, from huge festival arenas, worldwide tours, product and movie launch parties to Brighton's critically acclaimed and award winning theme nights. The Pussycat Club has built up a fantastically loyal following, the club is now firmly established as the most eye opening, bohemian, fun loving night of the region with constant coverage in the music and lifestyle press.The team that help to bring you that big Saturday night out are the promoter and Madame Pussycat herself Jan, resident DJs Nippa , Alex Outram and Miss Charmain .
