SCRIPTCHICK LIVES!

About Me

Former rock crit, (Creem, Rolling Stone, Sun Times), current script diva and Queen Mother. Currently a script reader and developer for Epiphany Pictures, I've been taken underwing by the amazing and endlessly patient Blake Snyder (Blank Check, Nuclear Family--book: Save the Cat), and get the occasional "boot in the___" from David H. (Slackers/American Pie2) Steinberg as well. I've written several screenplays, and semi'd in the Chesterfield Writer's Project, Project Greenlight (twice) and the more recent NBC/Bravo Situation: Comedy competition. I've lived as wife and mother on the Hopi reservation with my Hopi artist ex for eight years, and have a stunning half-Hopi daughter who wants to be a producer--so she can buy Mommy's scripts (JUST kidding). At present, I live in the wild Southwest, just outside of Tucson, in ranch country, where it's still at least partly untamed...kinda like me

Loved Closer, another Nichols-directed film, too. Loved Spanglish to death, mad for Shopgirl, The Door in the Floor, The Dreamers, Velvet Goldmine, 25th Hour, Love the Hard Way, or...even the old gold like The Philadelphia Story, East of Eden, everything Valentino ever did and Nosferatu. Just save me, please, from Hollywood...
