Kindness. abundant, limitless, layered expressions of love. hot tubs. good meals. large bodies of water. large crowds of sweaty dancing bodies. a good stiff drink. a good smoke after a good stiff drink. laughing. all the time. music music music music music.
perverts and radicals. compassionate rebels. empowered fat girls. bawdy, brazen babes. burly, bold, bashful butches and bois. genderfuckers. hi-fi femmes. big fine daddies. spiritual beings with disorganized belief structures. people who can't sit still while the world feels wrong. strong, loving, kind, passionate, powerful, driven, broken, healing, honest, open, present, aware, socially awkward, creative, craftsmenandwomen, artists, activists and friends.

Everyone I know is a hero. I don't believe in the lesserthan/greaterthan game. Those with more visibility have had better opportunities, which doesn't make them better people. We all do the best we can with what we've got. I love love love people who brave the world with honesty, sincerity, compassion and love. That's heroic.
