MyGen Profile Generator MyGen Profile Generator“Experimental, Electronica, Space Rock, call it what you want, the Karma Mechanics are fresh, intelligent and making waves across the south west”
Forcing their way onto the local music scene in early 2006, the Karma Mechanics have enjoyed a wealth of gigs, including slots at some prestigious venues. With a mix of eclectic influences, the ‘Mechanics were formed in April 2005, with bassist; Loz Castle, Guiarist/Pedal Pusher; Simon Gore, Drummer; George Kendall and Synth/Keyboards(yadda, yadda); James Camp…later joined by Piers Suckling in 2006. With so much freedom, noise, and not allowing themselves to be pigeon-holed by a certain ‘sound’, Karma Mechanics have fully established themselves as a band, and as a band not threatened by the indie scene. Their contradictive, metaphorical lyrics contrasting with the noise coming from Simons myriad of pedals and effects units, fusing with the interesting sounds coming from the samplers, synths and the like on top of the intelligent and explosive rhythm section of Loz and George, they are simply complimented by the unique sound of Piers’ voice. With recent interest from some important figures in the music industry, expect to see Karma Mechanics lagging their copious amounts of kit into a venue near you.You will find Karma Mechanics somewhere smack bang in the middle of Floyd and Volta, after being churned up by some psychedelic effects units and vintage synth sounds...
"The Karma Mechanics sound is big, raw and experimental, well suited for larger venues. They have a wealth of musical talent and a brilliant stage presence. The Karma Mechanics refreshingly break the mould; Intelligent and intricate" - John Funnell, Clean Living Records

Below is a review from our January gig at The Brunswick in Gloucester.
‘Second band on was a revelation. At last something different to listen to.
Karma Mechanics are a five piece band with a very distinctive almost psychedelic sound that defies classification. Original music combining keyboard and synth with very impressive bass lines and excellent drumming along with some manic guitar and excellent vocals. Definitely the best I have seen for some time and worth watching if you get the chance. They even ended up with the audience dancing on stage with them’
