music, film, literature, yoga- to name a few
The Wicked Witch of the West, Blanche DuBois and Rod Serling
The Waterboys, The Waterboys and The Waterboys- Mike Scott, Hank Williams, Elvis, Old Bowie, The Clash, Johnny Cash, Van Morrison, Patti Smith (here I go and I don't know why- the story of my life), Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Victoria Williams, The Frames, Mark Geary, Josh Ritter, Hothouse Flowers, Sufjan Stevens, The Arcade Fire, Kate Bush (Nocturn- YES), Interpol, Jeff Buckley, BRMC, Old Springsteen, Nick Drake, Damien Rice, The Rolling Stones, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, lots of jazz, blues and traditional music and many more
Too many to name. When I'm home I watch a film nearly every night of the week and see them out as well. Somewhat recently I've been very taken with "Finding Neverland" and "Crash". Even more recently I've fallen in love with the John Carney film "Once". See it, you won't be sorry. Also I loved Juno, who didn't?
not a fan of telly- but must confess that 'Arrested Development' makes me double over laughing as did the BBC version of "The Office"
the classics- James Baldwin is my favorite (or favourite, depending on where you're from) contemporary writer. Also Jonathan Safran Foer anyone? A maverick- a modern day James Joyce.
Anyone willing to stand up for and live in a manner congruent with what they believe is true-
