De-U.c.e. Double is the genuine article. Even as a young child he was already destined for great success. In his elementary years he already knew how to play the drums, piano, & perform live in front of stadium sized audiences. It was all second nature for him, with his mother being a minister of music & father CEO of a budding local record company. His grandmother on his mother's side of the family is the only Washington, D.C. resident to become inducted into the Gospel Hall of Fame. Now on the other side of the family his grandfather on his father's side was one of if not the most respected mass choir director & gospel musician's in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. His new debut solo offering "40. Watt" is scheduled for release soon. This CD represents for D.C., P.G., MD, VA, & a whole lot of other places in the world. It epitomizes what it's like to live a young man's life growing up way too fast in the local metropolitan area. His rapping delivery & style is unpredictable yet at the same time consistent & completely different from anyone else you try to compare him to. Him & two of his older cousin's formed the group The F.A.M. in the year 1999. Ever since he graduated in the year 2000 he's been selling CD's, doing audio/video production, audio/video engineering, rapping, songwriting, live performences, voiceover work, & much more for De-U Records; as well as other local artists. He is one of the original creators, engineers, producers, manufacturers, sellers, promoters, & voices behind the critically acclaimed & internationally publicized "Multiplication Hip-Hop" CD & "Edu-Basics" products. The "Edu-Basics" series has been featured on media outlets such as CNBC, NPR, Black Enterprise Magazine, Business Weekly, BET, The Washington Post, & over 150 news publications worldwide. After releasing several group EP's & receiving his certification for completing the Recording Engineering & Studio Techniques course at Omega Recording Studios School; his group The F.A.M. released their first full length LP "Rookie of the Year" in the year 2004. In the year 2005 De-U.c.e. was featured on the song "Clubbin" on De-U Records' R&B artist Lemme's debut solo LP "Take The Time". You can also hear him featured on the track "Get It In" on his group member & older cousin E One Letter's debut solo EP "You Talk It I Walk It".
