Jon Doe (21), the king of D.C was doing his thang on Anonymuz Records, rapping and making beats. In the process of releasing his mix tape series (The A.R. Compilation)one reached Trew via the internet. He asked Doe to send him some tracks, because Trew (23) was creating a buzz under the umbrella of Lions Lair Ent., which was creating a massive street buzz in Trew's hometown of St. Louis, MO. Doe sent Trew some tracks, but he also put the hook on one of them and also spit a verse. Trew loved it and recorded a verse to the song which was called "Don't Trip" and it created a big buzz in the Midwest and the South. Eventually the song spreaded to the East and West Coasts giving them their first hit record. Doe and Trew saw fit that this was a sign that they needed to collaborate on more projects and soon decided to become business partners. Along with Rod Gardener, (an investor with a carpet cleaning business) they launched C.S.C. Productions and called their rap group the Chop Shop Cartel. Chop Shop Cartel (known as Tha Cartel or C.S.C.), hooked up with Judy Jones (JJEnt., marketing and promotions specialist), and began touring the country. While at a show date in Atlanta, GA, Tha Cartel hooked up with super-producer Young Sears and created the song "Go Hard" a street anthum stating that you gotta go hard to get what you want, and they wanted to be the greatest rap group of all time! The "Go Hard" record took off and quickly made the C.S.C. known as the top indepedent rap group in the United States, if not the world. The C.S.C. has rapped and performed with all of the biggest names in hip-hop including: Young Jeezy, Master P., Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, Nelly, Chingy, Huey, Jibbs, T.I., Dj Drama, T.Q., Cadillac Don and J-Money, The Ying-Yang Twins, Youngbloods, 8Ball&MJG, T-Hud from the Minnesota Timberwolves, Yo Gotti, D.M.C. of Run D.M.C., B.G., Nappy Roots, Pretty Ricky, Mike Jones, Bun B., E-40, Trick Daddy, Trina, Plies, Rick Ross, Gangsta Boo, Fiend, K.L.C., Cherish, Ray J., Ebony Eyes, Static Major from the group Playa, T-Pain, Young Joc, Pitbull, and many more. Trew attacks Doe's magificent tracks with a crazy Pimp-C style, and a Mid south drawl that drive the young ladies wild. Jon Doe adds to his delivery with fire-hot production and savvy instrument arrangements that make the fans "go dumb" and "party like a rockstar" when listening to Chop Shop, but Doe's flow is as deadly as Lil Wayne's w/ beats that'll make Dr. Dre "keep his head ringin". They are here and they are ready.....they are the CHOP SHOP CARTEL!!!!!
