About Me

Larry"Priest"Ware, aka Priest Da Nomad is a recording/mix engineer and an independent hip hop artist, out of the Washington DC area. As an artist, Priest has been a mainstay not only on the underground DC hip hop scene, but worldwide, with releases in Europe and Asia. Priest honed his MC skills as a member and co-facilitator of a well known arts organization, called the Freestyle Union. This organization of different crews of emcees was a highly respected community oriented mainstay, at the forefront of the DC arts movement. Workshops were held at universities, at DC and Baltimore public schools, and was featured on BET's Rap City and Fox News. Priest Da Nomad's first release was a single called "Janeane", in 1997. It received mixshow rotation on WPGC(95.5) and WKYS(93.9), both in DC, in addition to college radio rotation. Subsequent singles and an ep followed until 2001. 2005 brought about a full length album entitled, "Mr.Moov Sumthin", with production by Oddisee, Choppy Chope Sounds, The Unknown, and Cyrus. The album has gotten stellar reviews from numerous online sites such as www.okayplayer.com, www.couchsessions.com, www.iroster.com, and many more.
