“I remember reading Colby's journal entries on the internet when he was filing them from Iraq. I was amazed at how heavy the material was but what really knocked me out was how sharp and vividly intense his writing was. My War is the real deal reportage from the ground. There's no way any reporter could have brought this back. If you care about our brave soldiers in the fray and want to get an insight into what it's really like out there, My War is essential reading.†—Henry Rollins "The United States has no intention of determining the precise form of Iraq's new government. That choice belongs to the Iraqi people. Yet, we will ensure that one brutal dictator is not replaced by another. All Iraqis must have a voice in the new government, and all citizens must have their rights protected.Rebuilding Iraq will require a sustained commitment from many nations, including our own: we will remain in Iraq as long as necessary, and not a day more."-- President George W. Bush February 26, 2003

Horror = Comedy
The McLaughlin Group on pot. History programs. Sometimes TV makes me want to take a gun and kill. I don't own a gun though. I do admit that I enjoy watching sports on television. NCAA Men's Basketball, Tennis, MLB, NFL and NBA. Nothing against NASCAR.... I just don't think auto racing is a sport. I think two people running a race is an athletic event. Two people racing against a clock, running after a ball all the while trying to knock the shit out of each other? Now, that's a sport.
Books my father read. No reason to mention all of them here. True Crime. Serial Killers. Helter Skelter when I was just a kid. My cousin gave it to me. I love her for it. Horror. Most of the Classics. Books they made all of us read in school. Poetry, any kind I happen to like at the time..... V. Hugo. L. Block's 'Eight Million Ways to Die' is my favorite book, I guess...... Steinbeck. COMIC BOOKS!.. I read Motley Crue's 'The Dirt' from start to finish. Easy read, took a few hours. I liked it. The Satanic Bible-read the whole thing. Versions of the Holy Bible-working on it.. I used to read a lot more books when I was younger. I read Aldous Huxley's 'Brave New World' on-line. Not sure why. Most of the books in my house I have never read. I love shopping for books and I could spend hours in a good library. Books make good gifts. Everyone should be given the opportunity to learn how to read.
