Charlie D Quartet

Charlie D is an accomplished musician, arranger, songwriter and producer who has recorded, toured and worked with a host of the world’s biggest & brightest talents including Stevie Wonder, Monty Alexander, Melba Moore, Jonathan Butler, Paul Simon, Jennifer Holliday, Freddie Jackson, Billy Ocean, The Mighty Sparrow, Byron Lee, Arrow, and many more. Charlie D recently arranged and co-wrote original music along with Barry Eastmond for the award-winning documentary about the late presidential candidate Shirley Chisholm. Chisholm ’72: Unbought & Unbossed airs on major TV networks and is distributed by Twentieth Century Fox. Charlie D also wrote the song entitled The Girl of My Dreams for two-time Grammy nominee Jonathon Butler. With a Masters Degree from the Manhattan School of Music, Charlie D brings a wealth of knowledge, talent and experience to the jazz scene.
