BIO:
I'm a Guitarist/Improviser with a strong focus on composition... I've also been working as a private music teacher for several years now, and was recently given a job as a Music/Concert Reviewer (not a critic) for FREETIME MAGAZINE . While I'm away from Boston I like to spend most of my time in Rochester NY where I grew up, received my first studies, and played in my first bands.
While living in New York I frequently performed at The Montage, Java's, Hicks and McCarthy Restaurant, and Marie's Ristorante. On solo guitar, I opened for such artists as Grammy-nominees Karrin Allyson and Brian Auger.
In 2002 I won a World Tour Scholarship Grant to the Berklee College of Music where I graduated from in 2007. Prior to attending Berklee I trained with Steve Greene in Rochester; and at the Eastman School of Music with Bob Sneider where I was named the Fred V. Alati Jazz Scholar.
Throughout the years I've become a student and fan of all music... However, my own music tends to fall under the label of contemporary jazz; while fusing subtle eastern influences and modern rhythms like, funk, hip-hop, and drum 'n bass.
