Band Members: Just recently, Miss Whitney had the privilege to organize a concert and perform with Calvin Fenner of Atlanta (drums), Reuben Cainer of London, England (bass), Naoya Rick Sakurai of California (piano/keys), Owen Ross of Boston (guitar), Peter Handy of Boston (alto saxophone), David Dunkin of New Jersey (trumpet), Dan Puccio of New York (baritone saxophone), Camille Harrison of Toronto, Canada (vocalist), Tremayne Youmans of Florida(vocalist), and Jenae Jones of Boston (vocalist). She claims, "these are some of the most humble Berklee musicians I've ever performed with. I admire musicians that can bring something to an experience individually that overall enhances a show into this collection of creative noise. It's beautiful!"
Influences: Miss Whitney grew up listening to a mixture of music. Anything from Beethoven, J.S. Bach, Aretha Franklin, Kirk Franklin, Jodeci, Maxwell, Tupac, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Sade, Fred Hammond, The Clark Sisters, Billy Joel, and even Celine Dion. The list goes on, but she is primarily influenced by people that take their artistic gift seriously and offer a musical experience to the rest of the world in the most purest, genuine form.
