About Me

Make sure to catch The Cotton Jones Basket Ride on tour from May 13th through June 28th!! Also, The Archery EP, the next edition in our Book Series will be available starting May 13th.
In early 2008 Michael Nau's new face, The Cotton Jones Basket Ride sees the Page France front man venturing away from the Free Design tinged hand claps of his previous work and towards the chaotically charming beauty of Harry Nilsson singing along to The Velvet Underground.
Visit The Cotton Jones Basket Ride MySpace Here .
2nd Edition run of Wait, Skeleton will be available April 22nd!
Pick-up Chris' new booklet EP Wait, Skeleton.. The album itself features six tracks and is in a hand bound, limited edition hardcover book containing artwork and writings. Wait, Skeleton. is now available for world-wdie digital download via iTunes and all other major digital retailers!
Having drawn comparisons to Jeff Tweedy, Will Oldham, etc., Chris Bathgate has risen from the ranks of everyday singer/songwriter to a national touring favorite, spending the early part of 2007 on the road both in America and Europe with Saturday Looks Good to Me and making his first trip to the SXSW Music Festival. After releasing and selling out of two separate records on his own in 2006, he was recently named the Best Solo Artist in Michigan by Real Detroit Weekly.
A Cork Tale Wake now HERE . They are also available nationwide at a store near you.
Welcome the newest member to the Qui-Sci roster Frontier Ruckus! Matt Milia, David W. Jones, and crew take the americana, backwoods-homespun-heirloom sounds of Stephen Foster, and give them a new understanding, with an unobtrusive modern edge. Top it off with the most intelligent lyricism you've heard in years, and you have Frontier Ruckus.
Watched closely at their SXSW debut this year at the Qui-Sci/Quack Showcase, look for their debut full length to come out sometime late summer, early fall.
Canada is back from the road and putting the final touches on their new record.
Pick up a special copy of their "Tour Cassette" when you catch them live. Also, you can still pick up copies of their debut release This Cursed House through our on-line store and other national retailers. Get Your Copy Now HERE .
THE DEAD BODIES - MR. SPOOKHOUSE'S PINK HOUSE! Out Now!
After floating around as one of Detroit's most highly traded albums among the CD-R subculture, a proper release finally comes forth of the epic mindfuck that is MR. SPOOKHOUSE'S PINK HOUSE. Make no mistakes... this is a "show all your friends" record. It is music that cannot be ignored. Regardless of what may have inspired it or how exactly it came together, it has an undeniable quality. It may be the fucked up culmination of kids with too much time on their hands, or too many substances in reach... but it's gorgeous, rich, and perhaps the most accessible record this year that can still make a claim on pure creativity and unquestioned originality.
