i was a lover before this war

About Me

i am moved by fancies that are curled
around these images, and cling;
the notion of some infinitely gentle
infinitely suffering thing.

My Interests

acquiring more books than i can possibly read and trying anyway; selling books to people; brooklyn; supporting local business and local everything else; the modernist movement; graphic design, particularly stuff from the 50s-60s and especially alvin lustig; music, music and music--in bars and in headphones on my ears; subways; trees; aesthetics and minutiae; simplicity; photographic slides and photography in general; walking down neighborhood sidewalks; reading interviews with writers; sitting by myself and reading in public places, especially coffee houses, summertime restaurant patios and warm little bars; watching film; enjoying the restaurant industry and carefully crafted food and beverage; bartending as a craft; i'm tirelessly captured by many, many fine things--for better or worse.

I'd like to meet:

people with ideas in their brains, thoughts in their minds, passion and kindness in their little hearts.
