Anyone who has experienced her performances come out with the sense of being a part of something exceptional and spiritual.Irene has served as a Worship leader and has been utilized in Christian Womans leadership since the late 80's. Her passion is to assist in encouraging those who have lost heart. "Encouragement is the building block for hope to those who's negative pasts are stacked against them. People lose heart because of not meeting others expectations. They find themselves on the harsh end of judgement at the hands of those not quailfied to judge." Irene has performed in many capacities including Church settings or secular venues.Throughout Irene's career she has played for various Calvary Chapels in Southern CA, The Pacific Amphitheatre, Evangelical Free Churches, Grace Chapel TN., Azusa Pacific University, Pepperdine University, various clubs include Kat Club, Coconut Teazer, Coffee Houses, The RoadHouse etc... The Gibson Showcase Theater, Gaylord Amphitheatre. Irene has opened for and performed with various artists some include Leslie Philips, Daryl Mansfield, Undercover, Leon Patillo, John Gibson, Disciple, East West, Chris Eddy, Sheldon Reynolds (Earth Wind and Fire ), Stryper, Bryan Duncan.Irene released her first CD "If You Were Here" in 2002' penning all but one of the songs on this well received album. Irene continues to perform with her husband Tim Gaines (Stryper) and band bringing a ministry of restoration. Irene share's her extraordinary professional and personal life experiences. Irene and her band are available for Church or Conference bookings.Irene continues her career as a Session Artist, Studio/live Backround vocalist. She had recently been a member of the Apocalyptic Cowboys as keyboardist and bgv's. She is an accomplished musician and is recording some of her new material for her sophmore project. Irene will accompany Bryan Duncan this GMA week and has also included the Tennessee Nashville Choir to her resume, singing last Christmas with Michael W. Smith and will be perfoming with the TNC at the Schermerhorn Symphany Center April 2007.Irene is a member of ASCAP and supports the Gospel Music Association and has been an Artist Associate for World Vision.
