About Me

Kurt Max from Wild Trip Productions in Venice, Ca. USA had recorded several Hendrix tunes just for fun. He assumed there were other Jimi nuts with the same experience as him so he put out a call to his fellow friends of Jimi around the globe. The outpouring was quite awe inspiring (as you will hear..) The result? Thanks to Kurt Max we got a stunning four CD box with contribution from artists around the world, complete with liner notes and professional made artwork! It is a must have for any Jimi Hendrix fan, and best of all; it is 100% free! Check out the track list below!!!

It's a classic, irresistible '60s pop-style song that showed a rare side of JH. I wanted to do the more obscure stuff that nobody else would touch.” (Note; it was Darrin sharing his recording of “Gloomy Monday” with me that inspired this entire project. KM). So Cal. USA

Dirty DOM ~ Guitar/Talk Box, Vocals. As part of the first wave of hippies in Hollywood (1965/1966) Dirty had a tribe of house hippies and lived the swinging Sunset Strip lifestyle to the fullest (hanging out at Canter’s Deli with Author Lee, Frank Zappa, Vito etc, etc.). Uli Jon Roth ~ One Of The Most Influential Musicians And Artists Of Our Time. Know for inventing the 6 octaves “Sky Guitar” and the pioneering of Neo-classical, Metal and Hendrixian fusion .
Jack Bruce ~ Hailed as one of the most powerful vocalists and greatest bassists of his time.

Michael Rhodes is THE session bassist in Nashville (having played on over 600 albums). Nashville TN USA
Graham Bonnet ~ Vocals. Graham is best known as the vocalist for Rainbow, Michael Schenker Group and Alcatrazz.
Jimi Hendrix ~ Guitar/Vocals. Jimi pioneered the avant-garde application of playing ‘sounds’ (rather than simply notes) in a pop format. His juxtaposition of primordial voodoo, ultra futuristic modernism, gypsy freedom, technical exploration and spiritual cosmic consciousness has forever earned him a sacred place of honor in the hearts of anyone who values creativity, freedom and love.
JH Bonus tracks ~ These tracks supposedly turned up briefly on a bogus ‘official’ Russian Hendrix site called “Официальный клуб Jimi Hendrix болельщиков людей России” in October-November 1998 and were quickly taken down (with little or no fanfare). The only info given was the cryptic message “Discarded & unused Alan Douglas-era bonus tracks for the 1993 MCA remasters CD series of ELL (and a proposed single disc release of Cry of Love/Rainbow Bridge). Mr. Douglas’ mixes were deemed ’inferior and would further tarnish the Hendrix legacy’.” It has also been rumored that some (or all) of these recordings were found in a wall-safe in Jimi’s Benedict Canyon house after Jimi had moved. Whatever the case, here they are!
