I am a "stay at home mom". That is my job. I am raising my son and taking care of my house and my husband, ie cooking, cleaning, doing the laundry, paying the bills, picking up the dry cleaning and changing diapers all day. For anyone who thinks that isn't a full time job try it for a bit and then let me know. All sarcasm aside I do do all of those things and I LOVE every minute of it. Having a baby was the best thing that ever happened to me. I love my husband, Cameron with all my heart and I love my baby Landon perhaps just a bit more.I have moved some key environmental groups in to my top friends so that they are the first thing seen when anyone looks at my profile.I think that we all need to look at these groups and the solutions that they offer and really make the most use of it.Because there is a lot going on right now in the world, poverty, war, suppression of all kinds but the Earth is hurting, badly and if we don't rectify the situation right now then it won't really matter who is waging what war where, or how much we are being taxed or who the next American Idol is because we won't have anywhere to live. I know that is very doomsdayish and not a happy thought but it is the truth.This is something that we all need to confront. And something that we can all do something about. We can use less energy in our lives. We can turn off lights and not have fans on all day. We can drive less or get a hybrid car or switch to bio-diesel. We can demand that our government start using its vast resourses to convert our energy making in to green sources of energy. But it will only work if "we" is all of us.I beseech all of you to look around at your own environment and see what you can do to make it a little more earth friendly. Look at the sites that I have provided on my profile and see what they have to offer. We can do something about it. So lets start.
