Howdy, my name is Freddie Cisneros, Born Austin, Texas April 12th 1947. I Grew up on Ft.Worth's South Side. Dad was an artist, he had a place called "The Art Shop" downtown and Mom had a Beauty Salon. They're both gone now, I miss them a lot.
I started gigging in bars at 13. I've played in bands with Lou Ann Barton, Doyle Bramhall,Red Young, Mike Buck, Jack Newhouse, Alan Haynes, Johnny Reno, Jimmy Don Smith, Danny Hukill, Screaming Kenny Bo Bo, Ray Sharpe, Revrend Filmore James, Robert Ealey, Sumpter Bruton, Phil Florian, John Grayum, Big Al Bettis, Uncle John Turner, Mark Stricklin, U.P.Wilson, James Hinkle, Anson Funderburg, Darryl Nulisch, Caddilac Johnson, Steven Springer, Craig Simicheck, Jim Jones, David Morris, U.P.Wilson, Leon Ellis, Randy, Woolery, Mason Ruffner, Bubbles Cash, Mark Pollock, Jerry Chambers, Tommy Dar Dar and many more.
I played with Robert Ealey and the Five Careless Lovers and other bands at the New Bluebird Nightclub throughout the 70's.I moved to Houston in 1980 and lived there 13 years.
My wife ( Mary Jane ) and I moved to Prescott, Arizona in 1993. I have a music store downtown Prescott. I still play some gigs with Big Daddy D & the Dynamites.
I still keep in touch with my friends from my years at Paschal High School St. Andrews and Rosemont Jr. High in Ft. Worth.
I was drafted in '67 and did my year in Viet Nam. I got out of there without a scratch. I feel blessed.
I quit smoking about 1980 and quit drinking about 1990.That was a lot of wasted time and money. It felt great to finally come up for air.
