About Me

Mike Liversidge is a seasoned singer-songwriter-musician with a lot of experience. He dedicates himself to his various jobs, whether it's teaching music students, leading music at church, or performing with notables like Al Jardine of the Beach Boys. **Mike's first big break was with the Arizona Jamboree, a musical variety show that started in Prescott AZ and branched out to the Phoenix and Flagstaff areas as well as Laughlin, Nevada and southern Utah. He played piano and keyboards, and did lead vocals and harmony, in a show that played rock, country, Broadway, gospel, R&B, blues, and jazz. With the group, Mike opened for the Coasters and Rascal Flatts. Mike played with the band from 1997 until the production's close in 2002. **Mike has gone on to do solo and group performances in Prescott, Sedona and Phoenix area restaurants, clubs, amphitheatres and churches. Performances include conventions, parties, wedding cermonies and receptions, funerals, banquets and other events. He is seen regularly at St. Germaine Catholic Church in Prescott Valley, AZ. He sings, plays piano and guitar in two weekly services: one solo, and another with the praise and worship group he directs, affectionately known as 'Good Child, Bad Child'. **While Mike enjoys performing many different styles of music, worship music has been the most rewarding. Mike says, "When people tell me how the music has touched them spiritually or they say that the music brought home the meaning of that day's bible readings and sermon, I know I've done my job." **In 2002, Mike cut six original songs. Send an e-mail for copies of the disc. ****SERVICES AT ST. GERMAINE: Mike's weekly schedule at St. Germaine is every Saturday 4:30 pm, solo, and every Sunday 10am with the group that he directs, "Good Child Bad Child". St. Germaine is located at 7997 E. Dana in Prescott Valley, AZ. Website: www.stgermaines.org**** ****LESSONS AT OXLEY/PMC: Mike is now teaching piano lessons at Oxley's Woodwind & Brass, dba Prescott Music Center located at 510 1/2 S. Montezuma St. Website: www.oxleymusic.com
