I've lived in Prescott since 1999. I love it. Lot's of cool people. Lot's of trees. I have been playing guitar since I was 14 and Sax since I was about 12. I've owned my own business since 1998. I am basically a musician that had to make a living so now I own my own business and play my Sax and Guitar as much as possible in order to maintain my sanity.
This is the "South Park" rendition of my blues band, Big Daddy D and the Dynamites . That's me on the Sax.
When the 'Mighty' Joe Houston shows up in town to play at the famous Bird Cage, we usually back him up so he doesn't need to bring his regular band. Playing with that guy gives you an appreciation for how honkin' loud a sax can get. He wears you out and is very impressive for a 70+ year old guy. I almost feel like I have to go into training to build some extra lung power when I hear he's coming to town. One time, he even left with a woman half his age. I want to be just like him when I 'grow up'.
I also play Spanish Guitar/Flamenco guitar for dancers here in Prescott... Flamenco Dancers that is... Sometimes Belly Dancers too. I love all kind of mid-eastern music. I have a number of guitars. My favorite is the Antonio Aparicio AA200. I also play in an Acoustic Guitar Duo with Drew Hall "Master of the Les Paul". Check out our MySpace account for Drew and Tony .

Prescott is a great little music town. It's possible for a musician to play 3-5 nights a week. The musicians here are very welcoming to most 'players'. So, if you ever come to visit Prescott and can play... make sure you bring you axe, horn or whatever.
