Sounds Like: THE KALAMAZOO VALLEY BLUES ASSOCIATION PRESENTS…15th ANNUAL BLUES FESTIVALThis year, you can get your tickets for the 2008 Kalamazoo Blues Festival right here at the Kalamazoo State Theatre! The entire weekend features more than 25 hours of music from some of the best blues acts and best crowds around. We’re selling weekend passes (yes, including all 3 days) for $15. It’s such a good deal it almost doesn’t seem right!Some of the people you can expect to see are Tinsley Ellis, Big Jack Johnson & The Oilers, Kelly Richey, and even local favorites like Marci Linn, Out of Favor Boys, and Marble Garden.Thurs, July 10 - Sat, July 12$15 WEEKEND PASSESDay passes available at the gate, Day of Show.Tickets on sale Friday, June 13 at 10AM!Tickets are available in-person-only at the State Theatre Box Office, or through the Kalamazoo Valley Blues Association. Visit their website for more info!If you’ve never seen Marble Garden before, don’t miss out! They’re a band of about 15-18 year olds who will give even the oldest blues hounds a run for their money. They kick things off right at Noon on Saturday. Get there early and you’ll be blown away like all of us and our Blues Series regulars have been! If you’ve never seen Kelly Richey, don’t miss her either! She’s one amazing guitar slinger and her 3-piece band packs a huge punch. You can catch her on Saturday at 7:50.
