Belgian Steel with a Canadian Feel. Light the Fire

About Me

The story of The Kerosene Man starts across the Atlantic Ocean on an island called Newfoundland in Canada. I wasn't born there but that's where I grew up and where I found my love for almost all types of music. I've lived all over Canada and met my wife there. She wanted to live in her home country and I'd never been out of Canada for longer than a short vacation so one thing led to another and now I'm in BELGIUM!For anyone who's curious, the name "The Kerosene Man" comes friom a Southern Voodoo (absolutely GREAT Belgian band) song of the same title. I was coming home from work listening to music and thinking about what to call myself for this little trifle of a project when I hear Do deVos's scratchy vocals belt out "I'm the Kerosene Man!" So after much back and forth I finally worked up the nerve to ask him if I could use the name and he obviously agreed. Thanks Do!Also for anyone who cares I use an Epiphone SG (Emily the Strange series) guitar and an OLP bass both running through a LIVE X3 from Line 6For anyone coming to this profile that doesn't like metal I have another called Blue Flame (www.myspace.com/flameblue) that showcases my blues side. Check it out! Do Devos "I'm The Kerosene Man" hoorde uitspuwen. Bedankt Do!! Do Devos's kraztige Stimme schreien hoerte " I'm the Kerosene Man ! " . Dank Dir vielmals Do ! My good friend Uwe translated this for me because beyond counting to three I can't read or right German!Bien tôt en Français! And for my Swedish friends....forget it I'm just not THAT talentedIf you like the banners you can thank my buddy Dave Murray from Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada.
