Blue Flame

About Me

The story of Blue Flame starts across the Atlantic Ocean on an island called Newfoundland in Canada. I wasn't born there (I was born in New Brunswick (not that anyone should care,) which is another Canadian province to all you non-Canucks out there) but that's where I grew up and where I found my love for almost all types of music. I've lived all over Canada and met my wife there. She wanted to live in her home country but I'd never been out of Canada for longer than a short vacation so one thing led to another and now I'm in BELGIUM! Where I've lived a happy if strange life for the last five years. Of course it goes without saying that none of this would be possible without the love and encouragement I get from my wife Michele. If you like what you hear here, then you have her to thank. If you don't, then blame me for screwing up some really good tunes! And for those of you who like a little IRON in your diet, feel free to check out my Hard Rock/ Heavy Metal profile: The Kerosene Man at www.myspace.com/thekeroseneman

I'm getting REALLY pissed off about this crap

Ok. Usually I save the rudness and swearing for my metal profile and I might even lose fans and friends because of this blog . I try to keep it clean here but there's something I'm really getting tire...

I need a band

Hey peoples! Ok. I've had such a great reaction to this music locally and internationally (that I just can't believe) that I've decided that I don't want to do this alone anymore. I want Blue Flame (...

More to come

More to come folks. I've got at least three more new tunes coming in the following few weeks. Watch for them. I've also got it in my weird little head to do a couple of covers. Maybe a little T-Bone W...

Glad to be back in blue!!

It's been a while since I posted a new song here. The reason being that instead of being down I have to be relaxed and in a good mood to play bluesy music. This year has been extremely stressful and I...

Its been a while

I know that it's been a while since I posted anything new to this profile. There is a two-fold reason. First this is my secondary music profile, the main one being The Kerosene Man (as I am first and ...

All Your Love

This song, originally recorded by Otis Rush, is dedicated to my loving wife, Michele. She's my inspiration. We're going through a rough patch right now. She was recently diagnosed with Breast Can...

Well, since I’ve done this I guess I should say something

I've been wanting to do this for a while now. Just about ever since I got The Kerosene Man first up and running. I love Metal, Heavy and Hard Rock too, no doubt. But my music has other sides to it. On...
