About Me

Love to play music, party, and spend time with good company perferably partners in crime.I was raised in the Washington D.C. Area. I went to a music school in New England. I played on the east coast for years while in school. Had enough of the east coast, moved to Colorado in 1997. Since then I have been the drummer for Shakedown Street, and dozens of other bands.I have been playing in clubs since the early age of 14. I have been trained by many kinds of drummers in many styles. Some of my teachers include William Hill (Principal Timpanist, Colorado Symphony and World Symphony), Steve Lawrence (Little Feat, Tina Turner), and several Jazz instructors at The Hartt School of Music.I have had the honor of playing with many fabulous musicians. Some of them include members of the Blues Brothers, Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia Band, The Tubes, and George Clinton and the Pfunk All-stars, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, The Digital Underground, Cecil Peanut Daniels, Jeff Pevar (David Crosbys band), David Nelson (New Riders of the Purple Sage & Jerry Garcia Band), Buddy Cage (from New Riders of the Purple Sage, Melvin Seals from the Jerry Garcia Band, Vince Welnick, Bob Bralove, Donna-Jean and Tom Constanten from the Grateful Dead Karl Denson, Steve Kimmock, Zero and many others.

My Interests

Snowboarding, Skiing, Teaching, Yoga, Volunteering for Disabled Sport Centers, Mountain Biking, Camping, Hiking, Playing music, Scuba Diving, Drinking rum in the Caribbean, Seeing shows, Long walks on a beach during sunset, Meditation, and takin a break around 4:19.. for at least a minute or two.

I'd like to meet:

Ghandi, Jerry, John Lennon, John Bonham, and the dude that used to play Bird Bird on the old Sesame Street (you know who I'm talking about).

Music:

Karl Denson, String Cheese, The Beatles, The Roots Tenacious D, Morris Day and the Time, Bob Marley, The Dead, Moe, and much more.All music is good. There is no such thing as bad music, just bad musicians.

Movies:

Anything by Oliver Stone, Dogma, Kung Foo movies, Monty Python, anything that makes me laugh until snot flys out of the nose. Casablanca, Animal House, Blues Brothers, The life and Hard Times of Guy Teriffico, Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Television:

not so much.

Books:

Deep Survival, Its not all about the bike, Dream Weaver, etc.
