My Movies are cooler than yours. It's true. Odd Obsession rents and sells rare and hard-to-find movies on dvd and video. Movies you had no idea even existed, or stuff you've been looking for forever. Anyone who's been here will tell you it's the best video store in the city if you actually take cinema seriously.
Odd Obsession's unique collection of 10,000+ titles feature a ridiculous selection of indy, foreign, rare, classics, experimental, cult fare, and so on. Featuring almost every Criterion title, New Asian cinema, oddities in documentary, Film Noir, French New Wave, cool television programs you've never seen, 60's to 80's Exploitation, EuroTrash Sex Flicks, newer and classic foreign titles from all around the world, and so on.
Memberships are free.
Rentals are $3/3 nights or $4/wk.
Deals on Monday & Tuesday: 3 movies/3 nights/$6 or 3 movies/1wk/$8.
Located at 1822 N. Milwaukee Ave., 2 blocks north of North/Damen intersection, 1 block south of Western/Armitage. Convenient to all neighborhoods, off the Western or Damen Blue line stops.
