About VILNIUS MAMA JAZZ FESTIVAL:
International Jazz Festival Vilnius Mama Jazz 2008 will take place on 11-15 November, at Utenos pramogų arena (Ąžuolyno g. 9) and Lithuanian Russian Drama Theatre (J.Basanavičiaus g. 13). This tradicional poly-stylistic jazz festival will host such jazz stars as: Chick Corea, John McLaughlin, Christian McBride, Kenny Garrett, Vinnie Colaiuta, Bill Frisell, Jack DeJohnette, Sibongile Khumalo, Bobby Previte, Eric Truffaz, Miroslav Vitous, Neda Malūnavičiūtė, Artūras Anusauskas, Leonidas Šinkarenka, Vytautas Labutis, Gediminas Laurinavičius, Valerijus Ramoška and many others – from USA, Italy, France and Lithuania.
Jazz jam sessions will be held at the festival club – Hotel Holiday Inn Vilnius (Šeimyniškių g.1)

The exceptional quality of Vilnius Mama Jazz is its versatility – the event is open to all styles and branches of the jazz music, as one of its purposes is to display as big a variety of jazz performances as possible. This festival is one of the biggest music events in Vilnius, it has been taking place since 2002. The audience is always captivated by impressive concerts and jam sessions of the festival.
