"BURLINGTON COKE FACTORY MIXTAPE" TIME IZ NOW

About Me

Time is of the Essence, and so is Justin, Justin Time. Justin Time is the embodiment of Hip Hop, he is what a true artist is and who artists want to be. Born in Brooklyn, and then later drafted to North Carolina, Justin Time has no limitations of territorial claims. Whether North, South, East, or West, you can't deny greatness once it's upon you. At age 20 Justin has started his own independent record label Timeless Records and been successful at doing so. Justin Time's first release, Time Has Come, was released during his senior year in high school. Being as resourceful as he is, he handled a majority of the stellar production and wrote all the lyrics. A year later came his second installment, Perfect Time End, which critics said, "It's mature music, you can see growth, and he only can get better." The third installment, In Due Time, is slated to be the next saga in this trilogy of musical brilliance. *"The 'In Due Time' album is gonna drop in December '08. That album I don't think a lot of people are going to be ready for, so I'ma drop "Soul For Sale" in July '08. It will give people a better understanding of me so it would be unfair to drop IDT b4 S4S"* The definition of Justin Time's style would be "distinct," he has his own method. Being influence by legends such as Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, and other artists such as Common, B.I.G, Wu-Tang, Ice Cube, A Tribe Called Quest and Special Ed, explains his expertise. Justin Time is as they say 'the total package', the voice, cadence, image, and phenomenal songwriter. When asked about his intent when creating he responds," I rap like it's somebody first time hearing me and somebody's last time hearing." In those regards once you hear him once it definitely won't be your last you'd want to hear him. After gaining notoriety from open mic showcases nationwide at famous venues such as Nuyorican Café (NY), Joe's Pub (NY) Elements (Cali), Blind Tiger (N.C.) and Earth Link (G.A.), he's always been invited back to perform. Justin Time's future is only seconds away and defiantly will be longer than fifteen minute of fame. To secure that Justin Time states, "Everybody nowadays is trying to take rap back to '88 or the 'golden era'. That's not me...hip hop can never move forward if it's stuck in the past?" It's never too late and it seems it will be Justin Time for a change.
