HORRORS OF WAR A publicity still from HORRORS OF WAR:
"Horrors of War" is an independent feature film I co-wrote and produced. We completed the film in December, 2005, and have been going through the process of releasing the film and gaining distribution worldwide. The film is currently in release in Japan, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. More territories are in the works.
"Horrors of War" was made in a B-movie style, yet with a dramatic grounding and an eye for bigger production values.
Synopsis "Feeling the pressure from Allied advance, Hitler unleashes his secret weapons. HORRORS OF WAR follows a wayward soldier during World War II in the European theatre as the O.S.S. sends him to investigate Hitler's arsenal of experiments.
Misc stuff......
This is a photo I took in Irwin, Ohio, very early one morning in the fall of 2004. Beautiful Ohio.
"When I was a child, I thought as a child,
but when I became a man I put away childish things."

As a friend of mine said "I've almost been killed too many times to count so I must be invincible."

The Dead Flag Blues Lyrics by Godspeed You Black Emperor
The car's on fire and there's no driver at the wheel
And the sewers are all muddied with a thousand lonely suicides
And a dark wind blows
The government is corrupt
And we're on so many drugs
With the radio on and the curtains drawn
We're trapped in the belly of this horrible machine
And the machine is bleeding to death
The sun has fallen down
And the billboards are all leering
And the flags are all dead at the top of their poles
It went like this
The buildings tumbled in on themselves
Mothers clutching babies picked through the rubble and pulled out their hair
The skyline was beautiful on fire
All twisted metal stretching upwards
Everything washed in a thin orange haze
I said, "Kiss me, you're beautiful.. These are truly the last days"
You grabbed my hand and we fell into it
Like a daydream or a fever
We woke up one morning and fell a little further down
For sure it's the valley of death
I open up my wallet
And it's full of blood

Auld Lang Syne by Robert Burns (English translation)
Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind?
Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and auld lang syne?
CHORUS:
For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.
And surely you’ll buy your pint cup !
And surely I’ll buy mine !
And we'll take a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.
We two have run about the hills,
and picked the daisies fine;
But we’ve wandered many a weary foot,
since auld lang syne.
CHORUS
We two have paddled in the stream,
from morning sun till dine (dinner time);
But seas between us broad have roared
since auld lang syne.
CHORUS
And there’s a hand my trusty friend!
And give us a hand o’ thine!
And we’ll take a right good-will draught,
for auld lang syne.

CHORUS

So live, that when thy summons comes to join
The innumerable caravan, that moves
To the pale realms of shade, where each shall take
His chamber in the silent halls of death,
Thou go not, like the quarry-slave at night,
Scourged to his dungeon, but sustain'd and sooth'd
By an unfaltering trust, approach thy grave,
Like one who wraps the drapery of his couch
About him, and lies down to pleasant dreams."
