I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I once lived in a tin shed in Texas with my Deaf parents. Now I'm a producer and publicist in NYC working hard for my money so I don't have to go back. Current cients include my husband comedian Christian Finnegan and the gorgeous new comedy nightclub Comix . I've had the pleasure of producing & promoting shows with Richard Lewis, Robert Wuhl, Craig Ferguson, Caroline Rhea, Alex Borstein, Tommy Chong, Finesse Mitchell, Jon Lovitz & too many more great comedians to mention.

Visit kambricrews.com for the whole nitty gritty and my blog for your daily dose. Read about My Jailed Deaf Dad at my work in progress site: Love, Daddy - Letters & Stories from My Jailed Deaf Dad.

My Interests

Producing, promotions, public relations, stand up comedy and publishing. Comedians Christian Finnegan, Louis CK, Patton Oswalt, Greg Giraldo, Laurie Kilmartin, and so many more.

Not so secret obsession: Forensic science, crimes of passion, serial killers, murder mysteries and mayhem. Life imitates art stuff.

All the time: Live theater, comedy, documentaries, the NAMCO 5-in-1 Plug & Play, and my dog.

I'd like to meet:

You. No, seriously. You!

Also anyone visiting or living in New York interested in coming out to a party or live theatrical, stand up or sketch comedy event should get to know me. Check out www.ballyhoopromotions.net for a list of events or submit your email to sign up for my weekly newsletter .

Music:

Anything and everything else in between. I leave the music selection up to my husband who is savant-like with his music knowledge.

Movies:

Was The Price is Right ever a movie? Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Shawshank Redemption, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Braveheart. You know, the standards. Knocked Up has to be on there now. I just fell in love with the entire cast and crew.

Television:

Of course, Chappelle's Show & Best Week Ever, or any other show my husband is on. BUT...I really like The Price is Right. Seriously. TiVO it every day and tell me you don't laugh heartily at least once and rewind about three times for a "Holy crap, did you see that?" kind of moment. Autopsy (HBO), First 48, Forensic Files, Dateline and 48 Hours Mystery. Heroes, Dexter, Six Feet Under, Arrested Development, and 24 before their last season turned lame. Also, American Idol. There. I said it. The first step to recovery.

Books:

Last summer I enjoyed The Glass Castle. I'd love to write a memoir 1/2 as good as that one. And Jeanette is the nicest, so that helps. When I was a young girl I devoured Agatha Christie. When I was about 11, I had so many books I turned my portion of our trailer into a library complete with the Dewey Decimal System and late fees.

Heroes:

Anyone who would rather die on one's feet than live on one's knees. Seriously. Get up, dust yourself off and get busy living.
