Massimiliano Rocchetta

Massimiliano Rocchetta, born in 1969, started studying the piano at the age of 8 thanks to the fervent passion he inherited from his parents. He graduated in piano in 1992 at the "G. Frescobaldi" Conservatory in Ferrara, Italy. Later on, in 2005, he graduated with honors in jazz at the "G. Rossini" National Conservatory in Pesaro under Maestro Bruno Tommaso.During his musical education he had several teachers of piano, harmony (classical/jazz), jazz arrangement and composition, among which Maddalena Patella and Saverio Gallucci (Nafta), to which he is bound by deep friendship and gratitude. He also studied under famous Maestros such as Sante Palumbo, Ettore Ballotta, Bruno Tommaso, Gianmarco Gualandi, Stefano Battaglia, Franco D'Andera and Enrico Rava.He was the winner of the 19th "International Competition of Arrangement and Composition for Jazz Orchestra" of Barga (province of Lucca, Italy) in the Original Compositions Section (BargaJazz 2006). www.myspaceeditor.it
