DangerKatt Creative Studio is a new media company dedicated to the creation of original comics, video and film, screenplays and novels. DangerKatt is the brainchild of writer/director Daniel Corey.
Artistic Director: Daniel Corey
Daniel Corey is a director, screenwriter, playwright, and novelist. He has authored five screenplays, two teleplays, numerous stage plays, a novel, and has several comic projects in the works.
Dan spent four years as writer in residence with the New York Acting Ensemble, where he had ten plays produced. Titles included Joggers, Psyche in a Box, Star of India, Worthy of Albee, and The White Room. He has written for the animated series Angel Wars: Guardian Force, and is currently collaborating with artist Anthony Diecidue on a graphic novel titled Prophet.
Recently, Dan has ranked in several distinguished competitions. His King of the Hill spec script, titled The Yiddish Connection, recently made the top 10 finals of Creative Screenwriting’s AAA Teleplay Competition. His screenplay Manhattan Heat made the top 15% list out of 1,400 entries in AAA’s Screenplay Competition. The Yiddish Connection was also a Second Rounder at the 2006 Austin Film Festival Teleplay Competition. In addition, Dan adapted his own novel, Elizabeth Kilbride, into a screenplay that was a quarterfinalist in Francis Ford Coppola’s American Zoetrope Screenplay Competition.
Presently, Dan holds the rights to two novels by New York Times bestselling author Ken Eulo, Manhattan Heat and The Brownstone, for which he has completed scripts.

ELIZABETH KILBRIDE is a novel by Daniel Corey. Dan has also adapted ELIZABETH into a screenplay, which was a quarterfinalist in Francis Ford Coppola's American Zoetrope Screenplay Contest. ELIZABETH KILBRIDE is a thriller set in pre-War France that mixes the high society worlds of music and art with high stakes intrigue, while delivering elements of classic thrillers like Rebecca and Gaslight.

Film Adaptation, THE BROWNSTONE:

The Brownstone is a million-selling novel by Ken Eulo, a psychological horror story of isolation and possession set amidst the bustling urban blight of New York City in winter. The Brownstone is best described as a thriller in the vein of Rosemary's Baby and Amityville Horror.
