In a Blink...
Can a killer for hire become a man of vision? The Prophet is fast with a gun, but he struggles with questions of truth and destiny, life and death. Could he be the chosen one?
The Full Story...
The Prophet is the most notorious killer for hire in present day Mexico, but he undergoes a major crisis of conscience as he finds himself plagued by supernatural visions and the ability to see into the souls of others. The playing field that was once so cut and dry is now more complex as he battles demons in his dreams, seeking redemption for past sins while continuing to ply his trade in the physical world.
With the help of his mentor, the Preacher, and a beautiful woman from his past, he decides that the path to redemption lay in stopping a major drug shipment from crossing the border. The Prophet plays one side against the other as he forms and breaks alliances among rival drug lords, a power hungry general, and wayward DEA operatives.
Prophet is fast with a gun, and faces his enemies against the backdrop of the Mexican desert, old-world border towns, an explosive train robbery, and a climactic final showdown. In his search for truth, he must learn to accept his destiny: that he has been chosen by forces greater than himself to become the latest in a long line of visionary warriors.
