Band Members: Greetings,Welcome to the myspace of Sis. Dr. Sandra Richards. This is where I will share something of my world, my friends, my projects and other interests that are not specifically work related after there must be more to life than just work work work. I hope you'll be inspired to reach for your goals and not be boxed in by other people's version of how you should live.

As for me, I love God, life, people, music, my community, friends and especially my family. Life is short and you're a long time dead so be the best you can whilst you can. So on this site I will express the less stuffy side of me. Turn up the volume on your speakers and hear some of my energy and interviews. I don't see myself as a singer per se but I love to blend talk song music and inspiration.

I gotta plug my books and CDs. I am committed to equality and above you will see me holding a copy of my latest book about school exclusion, it's called 'THE WAY WE SEE IT'. I also have a journal workbook called 'THE JOURNEY'. If you want to know more about my products and services visit www.desiretoinspire.com. Also, take a listen to my radio show on www.colourfulradio.com.

Do leave a comment or even a message about your world. Thanks for stopping by.

Influences: I have been blessed to have many so I will focus on the women. The most significant influences are my mother Mildred and late father Gladstone. Next come my sisters and daughter.

UK women I admire include Jackee Holder, Angie Greaves and Angie Le Mar who offered feedback and encouragement as I prepared myself for the world of informing and empowering others. US women I admire include Maria Dowd, Phyllis Yvonne Stickney, Angela Davis, Oprah and Maya Angelou.

Ancestral influences include those freedom fighters who struggled for the liberation of Africa and Africans from bondage including those in the Caribbean and Haiti in particular.
