Look Sir, Nerds!

About Me

I'm a member of the 501st... a worldwide Star Wars fan club. I wear kilts as often as pants. I drive a big red pickup truck. I paint, sculpt, program, take photos, and sometimes tear apart my house to rebuild it.
I do not add bands to my friends list unless I either know you, or REALLY like your music. Sending me a random friend request won't get you anywhere.
I don't want to get the link to your private cam site. I can see hot women without a credit card, thankyouverymuch.
Generally I post in Livejournal WAY more often than here. Username is the same on both sites.
Anyway, that's about it for me.

My Interests

costuming, graphic design, heavy metal, medieval weapons, sculpting, photography

I'd like to meet:

Anyone that can show me something that I'll genuinely be interested in.

Music:

late 80s early 90s thrash / speed metal. i like some of the newer metal / metalcore type stuff. never really got into the cookie monster death metal. i also like a fair bit of goth / industrial stuff.to spew a bunch of bands out: megadeth, overkill, anthrax, pantera, exodus, lacuna coil, arch enemy, black label society, rob zombie, sisters of mercy, nick cave, peter murphy/bauhaus, gary numan, dresden dolls, switchblade symphony.
and the occassional freakish thing like eminem or kid rock.

Movies:

sci fi and horror mostly. i've been a big star wars fan since i was old enough to think. i got into the slasher movies at around 12-13 or so. i am "proud" to say i own every friday the 13th dvd.

Television:

i watch VERY little tv. good eats, the daily show, the henry rollins show. there are a bunch of series that i like, but i watch them on dvd. sg-1 and firefly come immediataly to mind.

Books:

much like movies, i read for entertainment, not to better myself, so i pretty much read fluff. recent reads include the latest harry potter, outbound flight by timothy zahn, make love the bruce campbell way, and jenna jameson's autobiography. i am obviously into classic literature.
