YES PLEASE. i have a pretty eclectic range of tastes that veer toward alternative, goth, new wave, punk, electronica, french chanson, synthpop, rock, and even some classic country. i'm sick of being pegged into a subculture. i like STUFF.
Movies:
i am a film geek that could build a small house with my dvd collection. ask me.
Television:
i more or less avoid television usually, since the onslaught of advertising really hurts my brain, and the content is generally nothing i'm interested in; if i'm watching television at all, it's always at the home of a friend... that said, i do like "house" and "rome." i DID like "john from cincinnati" before they cancelled it. *EXTREMELY IMPORTANT EDIT*: I'm now utterly and pathetically addicted to HBO's "True Blood." Heh.
Books:
clive barker, george r.r. martin, terry pratchett, and neil gaiman are my fantastic four. i'm a fan of the fantasy genre, but i try to avoid the thinly-veiled-romance-novel variety. i love biography as well, and historical non-fiction.
recommend me books. i'm always up for reading something new.
Heroes:
my cats. whoever makes me laugh the hardest. danny boyle and jean-pierre jeunet, for making incredible films. actors and musicians who elicit a genuine emotional response from me.
