Most of you know quite a bit about me just through my blogs and bulletins. But for those that have just met me, or just surfing myspace for new friends. Here's a bit of info. First off as many know I'm a huge Transformers fan. Fell in love with the Toy/cartoon/comic line in late 1985. Fell out of touch with the line for two years between 89 and 90. But by late 91, I was very much into the toy line again. Working at a thrift store during high school I would pick up plenty of bots and cons for a buck fifty a bag. That's pretty much how my collection grew. In 92 I had gotten a hold of Sunbow, receiving all kinds of info on the G2 Transformers coming out with the names and contacts with most the G1 voice actors. I didn't have internet at the time, of course most hadn't. But thanks to those addresses and the kind heart of Casey Kasem. I managed to write each other back in forth with the talent throughout the next year. Receiving about four autographs pictures.(Something I'll have to try and dig up.)
By 94 I was in a Transformers fan club with about 200 members. Helping with the production of Transfan newsletters and fanzines. In 95 I went to my first Botcon, after which I've been to every Transformer convention since then. Meeting my Boyfriend Tony at Botcon 1998 ^_^
Now that I've spoken of my main hobby. I do have many others, mainly centering on eighties cartoons and toy lines such as G.I.Joe, Thundercats, Silver Hawks, She-ra, He-man and Silver Hawks. I spend a lot of time drawing, Trooping with my Garrison Carida (a true band of brothers and sisters :), Spending time with my Tony and our two kitties. I also RPGing with my friends on myspace. Big kudos to Jazz, Nightrunner, Prime/Starscream, Megatron/Aggressor and Umi/Skybalt for always making it fun.
As for what I have planned. Tony and I still plan to keep up with the toy shows and conventions. Keeping up with the cosplay planning more costumes and cruising in the DeLorean any chance we get.-Screamers
