I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Former East Village knockabout Bohemian circa 1979 - 1992. Eventually settled into corporate and family lifestyle. Preparing for mid-life crises.

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

BTW - I'm curious why there are so few choices/combinations for ethnicity here on myspace? I'm a NYC mutt, so I put "other" - but what if I were Native American and Irish? Or Alaskan Inuit and Italian/African? How about some more choices here, Tom? Or at least an open text field?

My Interests

Drinking, Smoking, Gambling, Music

I'd like to meet:

Wouldn't mind re-connecting with old friends from the East Village Music/Art/Club scene of the 80's.******************************************************* ****Attention Bands: I wish you well, but there are too many to support, so I am not accepting any more friend requests from bands, unless I know you personally.New Bands: Please "friend" me at my music page, Erik Ivan, by clicking on me (the 80's version)in my Top Friends area.Bands that are my friends already: Again, unless I know you personally, I am afraid that I must drop you. I hope we recconnect through my music page mentioned above. Good luck to you if we don't meet again!

Music:

I love almost all of it.

Wilson Pickett, One of The Great Ones (my tribute)

Sometime in the early/mid 80's I went to see him play at the old Lonestar Cafe, on 5th Ave at 13th street. I had been getting into a lot of 60's R&B, which is some of the greatest music ...
