Apparition

The moniker most fitting to Apparition is Melodic Metal.
Their music distinguishes itself from other genres of metal through the use of contrasting styles in which originality and creativity are prized above all else.
Apparition combines aggressive and brutal parts with atmospheric and instrumental interludes and adds this to a mix of eclectic drumming, haunting guitar solos and layered vocals, allowing each part to serve the composition as a whole.
On stage the band is energy incarnate and one can literally feel their enthusiasm spilling off the stage.
Their resume includes many successful performances; most notably those in Muziekcafe De Paap (The Hague), 't Paard van Troje (The Hague), Bibelot (Dordrecht) and the mecca of Dutch Metal, Baroeg (Rotterdam).
The band came second in the BeachBattle 2007 competition in which 52 bands took part.
