ExCanadian now living in Palm Bay.

About Me

I am voracious. I am skinny. I am fierce. I live in search of art....art, good expressive stuff, not the dead pseudointellectual kind. I am sick of analytical and phony performance art. Turkey Creek neighbourhood of Palm Bay is my new habitat. This is a special secret enclave in Palm Bay. We have wildlife here. Let's keep it free and unspoiled by polluters and gangster condo builders! I am sick of thieves. I've journalized my dreams since 1987 and have painted some of them. I'm seeking gallery opportunities. I've shown my art publicly since 1969. I do not watch television. I like "coast to coast am" late night radio. my BMI is 22 and my blood pressure and cholesterol level is enviable. I am spiritual, nondenominational and intuitive.Anita, my sweetheart is soon going to enter college. I want to champion her and make anyone who sabotages her college career to back off.My paintings, more added frequently are at http://home.earthlink.net/~stevoartist This website will be rebuilt from scratch sometime.Go there, enjoy. Comments are always reciprocated. There's gotta be new people out there. This place has natural beauty, but it's a strange damn place.

My Interests

My graphics clients, making paintings, drawings, photography, digital photography, graphic design, Adobe software, Macintosh computers, publishing, cats, cameras, kayaks, bicycling, fencing, playing bass guitar, making music, yoga, natural foods, poetry, self-defense training, security systems, dreams, dream journal, painting dreams, phi mathematics, Hungarian culture because I know it, maybe someday more of my own art shows.

I'd like to meet:

I live in search of kindred spirits. They must be out there. Maybe there are some people who have interests similar to my own. Anita is my kindred spirit and I'd like you to meet her.Liers and art thieves make me sick. So do bullies and irresponsible people.Art basically is what I enjoy talking about, and I do not avoid applied arts or commercial art because all our established needs and luxury standards come from art.My relationship with my woman, Anita is enviable to many people but it is a constant learning experience, too with many surprises.

Music:

Eclectic tastes. I prefer to create and record my own. The Beatles, Robyn Hitchcock, Bob Marley, Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, Adrian Belew, Sun Ra, B.B.King, Robert Lockwood Jr. Pepper McGowan, Kate Bush, Laurie Anderson, Diamonda Galas. Orchestral/Classic, Olivier Messian, Franz Liszt

Movies:

Andalusian Dog, Blood of a Poet, A Clockwork Orange, Soylent Green, Dark Star, Eraser Head, Liquid Sky

Television:

Don't whatsoever, never. No need for television. Here. The new Dr Who series is a thrill. Going back to 1963, Dr Who is the only fiction offering I have truly liked.

Books:

Art books and criticism, The Holy Bible, The Koran, Bahai Writings, software manuals, Alvin Toffler.

Heroes:

Anita Knapp, and that's not a nickname. She is the greatest human being that I have ever met!Edward Teller, Nikola Tesla, Don Bonham, Tom Thompson, Lawren Harris, Jackson Pollack, my cats, and my mother.

A friend from 36 years ago had just emailed me. This is truly amazing because our rapport has been unstilted and is still intact.
