I'm a gay guy, into dark stuff (you name it...), mostly visual.
People with a dark sense of the humours, who like many of the same things that I like. I would prefer not to meet anyone who hates everything that I enjoy. I'd also like to meet people I already know, 'cause there's less stress involved, what with that awkward "getting to know you phase" abandoned for an uneasy sense of unstable trust. Oh, join my group I just started if you want to - it's called "Classic & Crappy Horror and Sci Fi Fans of the Gay Community." Open to anyone who's either classic, crappy, or gay. PLEASE message me before asking me to add you as a friend. I wanna know what we have in common. Thanks!
Sinead O'Connor, Bauhaus, Curve, Morrissey/The Smiths, She Wants Revenge, The Cure, Annie Lennox/Eurythmics, Aimee Mann, more Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, Nick Cave, Switchblade Symphony, more Bauhaus, Bjork, Depeche Mode, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Peter Murphy, more Bauhaus, Kate Bush, Emmylou Harris, Gail Davies, Tori Amos, and that one Rob Zombie song, "Living Dead Girl."
I love all those old black & white horror movies and sci-fi movies. Almost anything with Karloff in it, Barbara Steele, Lugosi, Zucco, John Carradine, Vincent Price... I also love all those old Hammer horror films. Peter Cushing was one of my all time favorite actors. Big Katharine Hepburn fan, and I love the Marx Brothers. I have a huge collection of mostly horror films on DVD and video, and one of my favorite things to do is have a movie night watching really bad movies and having fun getting drunk and making fun of the film. Which brings me to my favorite Television thing, and my most favorite thing of all.
"Mystery Science Theater 3000" -I'm the biggest fan ever. Yup, I'm a MSTie and MST3K is my favorite thing ever. If you're a fan don't hesitate to message me! I'm also a fan of the new "Battlestar Galactica," and I love classic old shows like "Dark Shadows," "Night Gallery" and "Twilight Zone," "Kolchak, the Night Stalker" (The revival series sucked hard - I only love the original). Elvira, Mystress of the Dark, should be ruler of the world. I love "Family Guy" - I was a big "Simpsons" fan but that's kinda faded. Invader Zim rules!!! As does Futurama. Oh, and somehow I've become addicted to "House."
Authors: Peter Straub, F. Scott Wilson, Agatha Christie, Mike Nelson, Edgar Allan Poe.
Roger Corman, Beverly Garland, Cassandra Peterson, the MST3K cast... but most of all, Francis Coleman, for having the guts to do anyway what he clearly couldn't do.
