About Me

Son of Obatala. Snake-charmer.

Aborisha. Pagan. Cunning Linguist.

Former anthropology major and trad skinhead.

I work for a non-profit community healthcare clinic, mostly providing support for long-term survivors of HIV/AIDS, mental illness, and addictions.

Harmonious mix of Italian, British, and Native American. I grew up next to Salem, Massachusetts. I also lived in New Mexico for a few years. My ancestors are from Italy and Sicily, England, Northern Ireland/Scottish Lowlands, New Brunswick, and Maine (Abenaki). Unfortunately, I do not know exactly where all my mother's ancestors are from in Italy and Sicily, although we have some clues from my grandparents. I learned recently that one of our family names is Sardinian.

I also honor the Earth Mother, the eternal fates and the land spirits. Respect to the Creator, the messengers of light, and the saints of my maternal ancestors.

Other than that, just a non-mainstream laid-back guy with a strong sense of justice and good humour who gets along with different kinds of people. Oh, except for gay republicans. I can't feel any love there. No apologies.

I was in Rome, Nemi, Ostia, and Cerveteri in March 2008. I will post photos and recollections of my trip to Italy as soon as possible.

Maferefun Ochun! On MySanteria, I am known as River_Of_Peace.

Time for change...

Ochosi, spelled Oxossi in Brazil.
