Formed in 2003, newborn is a new rock band coming from Udine, a small italian city. Their music is inspired by the late american rock and metal bands like Mad at Gravity, 30 Seconds to Mars, Chevelle and many others, never forgetting the old school groups such as Deftones, Tool, Incubus... In few time they matured a noteworthy “live” experience achieving also good placements in many regional, national and international music contests (winners of Mastro Rock 2004 and Remanzacco Rock 2004, regional finalists of Monfalcone Pop Rock 2004 and 2005, regional finalists of Emergenza Festival 2005, seconds in Rock Contest 2005 in Florence and semi finalists of Tim Tour 2005 in Trieste). They also obtained many radio passages (Radio Rai 3, Controradio, Radio Base, Radio Fantasy, Radio Onde Furlane and others) and their first video appeared on Sky Tv. Quoted by a national radio as an “excellent band with a powerful and solid sound“, newborn are actually completing the montage of their new videoclip and live DVD and they are recording their new promo cd that will come out in the next winter
