THE FUTURE SEEN THROUGH THE EYES OF AN EIGHTIES CHILD.I began customising about seven years ago as a hobby -I was soon to realise this hobby was more of a passion. I vividly remember my first proper customer that asked for their trainers to be customised and how I had to think outside the box to recreate his dream. Since then I have been doing customs for a wide variety of people and have tried to appeal to their tastes. My customs are all unique -which I view as my niche.I view myself as an up and coming designer that has prioritised his aspirations. My work is very much graffiti orientated -especially when it comes to colours, shapes and characters- my nostalgia of street culture inspired me to found Self Clothing, which is a clothing brand that focuses on what I perceive to be style, using traditional tweeds with the added twist of florescent colouring with expressive designs and graffiti influences that appeal to consumers searching for something different that the fashion world cannot offer.In late 2006 I was given the opportunity to become a member of the Ugly Kids Club. The Ugly Kids are an ever expanding collective of London’s top customiser, designers, custom artists, graffiti artists, university graduates and established/non established artists and more recently started working with photographer John Kane which has expanded my work in a way now that I feel can be expressed more through his photographs.My dreams for the future is for me to expand my work even further to all new level soKEEP YA EYES PEELED !
