more than meets the eye

About Me

A scavenger of varying definitions. Wise beyond my own comprehension and dizzy from the spinning of it all. I can create something out of anything, and anything out of nothing.
I am...evolving...changing...growing...inspiring growth in others and seeking inspiration beyond the exploits of my own mind. I dance, slink, move and groove...ever shifting...yet quietly watching. My voice carries on the wind, my smile warms hearts....I choose to live, breathe, wrap eternity in my arms and coddle her children to my breast. My life echoes with the scents of playa, and chocolate chip cookies and with the rhythm of a thousand feet moving to their own beats. I am here...now...as I should be. All moments have led to this point and I move forward with confidence that my path is my own and will lead me wherever I need to go.
I am a bubbly young sprite, with OCD in the best ways. Prone to random outbursts of glee, slide-by huggings and fits of laughter. Psycho-analytical and zest-fully real, I love little more than a good night of dancing followed by a few after parties filled with chatter and fun friends. My nights are often long, and I greet each new day with a smile. I'm open-minded to a fault and so motivated I sometimes have to stand still to catch up with myself.
I am an outgoing, logical and thoughtful woman with a bounce in her step or a slink in her walk. I've been told I move like music, but one has to remember that sometimes music sounds horrible. I love to move to music, and find that most any music can move me.
I am a philosopher and teacher, also a translator and instigator. A do-er, with a can-do attitude and well-spring of energy to fuel my exploits and processes. I am opinionated, diversly knowledgable and intelligent, with a knack for 'figuring things out'. I have a lot of random information in my head, and love the sound of my own voice - so I rarely hesitate to share if I feel the inclination - you are welcome to not listen at any time you choose :) I'm very open, and I have no secrets. More intricate than complicated, I am a composite of pure experience and I love to indulge. No holds barred. I'm not out for shock value, but I hold honesty in high esteem as the truth is often much more fun than any fiction. I am a voyeur; I love to watch people, I also love to give people something to watch. I have an avant-garde style and love to make a spectacle of myself, it helps to cover up my inherent shyness.
I work as a model and love seeing the vast array of emotion and mood that be conveyed through the perfect artistry of a photograph. I enjoy seeing how many people I can make myself into. I'll take on just about any project, and that versatility and drive seems to get me far. I work ALL the time, but somehow I still make time to play almost as hard as I work.
Modeling of various sorts has been my mainstay for a while. In addition to that, I indulge in just about anything that strikes my fancy and define lucrative in whatever necessary terms apply. I'm a general creator, catlyst and entrepaneur, making my living and my life as an actress, vocalist, dancer, writer and photographer. I'm a consultant, advocate, utilitarian tracking device and mega-muse.
For the past several years one of my favorite past-times and indulgences has been the Renaissance Faire. I've spent much of the past year and a half playing gypsy all over California, and into Arizona. Living on the Faire site, building the sets and working the magic has been a wonderful experience. I love creating wonderful experiences for other people. It has meant I was living in a tent, or wodden box, but the hardships were worth the golden smiles. Now I am living on my moms ranch, waiting for the next Faire, or something better to come along.

My Interests

I'm interested in just about everything. I love to learn, and to create. I can do absolutely anything, even if just not right now. I'm the type that is willing to pay more rent to accomodate my pets, willing to drive out-of-the-way to accomodate a stranger, and willing to stop for a moment (even if I'm late) to thank a particularly vibrant leaf for reminding me of that shade of green.

I enjoy living alone, but I love to fill my home with friends. My plant collection almost outnumbers my DVD collection, but I have a small army of cd's as media reinforcements. I love to dance, to anything, anywhere. I am always dancing, even if only on a cellular level...my eye-brows even have their own dance, and my car-dancing skills are superb. I come live and direct with my own sound track of sound effects and improv theme songs.

I love to perform, but I like being shy. I love to watch absolutely everything, including the pictures in my head. I like to take notes. I take a pen and notebook (or folded up piece of paper) with me everywhere I go. I like to make stuff. I'm good at being innovative. I collect driftwood, seashells, books and clothes. I am an avid rock hunter.

My pets are my friends, not my wards. They are awefully cute though aren't they?

The two ball pythons are Emily & Junior, they are about 4 feet long each.. The red-tail boa is Rea, a 6.5' female. The bearded dragon is Sativa. (I recently gave Rea to a new home)

Passion and insitiable curiosity are what fuel my days, nights are for scheming and revelry. I work at The Renaissance Faire and attend Burning Man every year. I'm also a poet with a fondness for yarn.

I am that girl, or this girl, or any girl, and where you see me is where I'll be, although where I am is not necessarily to be found. I am she who lurks in corners, and she who dances when noone else is. She who will talk to anyone, and she who is sometimes scared of her cell phone. She with all the answers and she with even more questions. She who is consolation, and mischief, and comraderie. 1000 costumes, faces and voices, I am she who is anyone, but is always herself.

Synchronicity is the perfect drug.

I'd like to meet:

People with whom to share ideas, supplies, resources, efforts, glory and more. Prerequisites: unfinished ideas, several ingenius 'if-only' plans and a sincere desire to see what happens next.

I'd like to meet myself, through your eyes, so I can figure out better how I really am. And I'd like to meet you, in whatever version you decide to present yourself at the moment, to ask if 'how' you are really serves 'who' you are, and what you are doing with that knowledge. I've met god, and I've found the devil in all of us swimming deep within my own soul. I want to meet those who see themselves in the eyes of everyone they pass.

I love people. The ways they all vary uniquely yet still are able to function in the same existence. I love the connection you can have with a total stranger, whether it’s a random act of kindness directed someone’s way, or just understanding the withering look cast sideways across the room. Interaction is golden, and I treasure the connections I find with people more than anything else in the world.
