About Me

I am saddened by the fact that I have to fear my own government. My government that preaches "freedom" and "tolerance," and to make sure that it is enforced, I mean, that it flourishes around this great planet, it uses military and police, torture and trial.
How long will my people (the American people) gorge themselves on the same rhetorical tripe that has been used against the general population for at least the last hundred and fifty years. Ever since the Industrial Revolution (more like Cromagnon man), the apes at the top have spent half their energy constructing a system that keeps everyone in their place, and the other half of their energy expanding personal fortunes and empires.
I am all for the free market as an economic structure. However, it is more than a matter of charity that the rich should uplift the poor, especially in the "era of globalisation."
1.) disease pandemics almost always start with the poor, but they spread (democratically) around the world with terrifying speed. At one time it was Bubonic Plague b/c of a lack of sanitation services, now it's AIDS b/c America thinks it can tell tribal Africans not to have sex and that's going to reverse a couple thousands years of culture and gentics.
Idiots. Pass out some condoms and make retro-virals readily available and we're probably going to get somewhere. Sick thought: could those on top really be biding their time in the hopes that these poor people just start dropping dead (faster than they already are)?
Bill Gates, you're off the hook buddy. But what about the American gov't? I pay taxes on the Iraq War, and on the one I'm sure they're working on with Iran. Take $50 bucks a year from me and everybody else and get some f*cking medicine to these people who are NOT dying from our bombs!
2.) many of the biggest economies in the world (i.e. the United States and others) have begun to stagnate. However, illegal immigration continues at a, hem, "healthy" pace. If immigrants had jobs at home it would be a win-win-win: they wouldn't need to come here and "take" our jobs, their increased prosperity would create new markets for goods from our country and others, and their increased prosperity would increase health care, education, and other necessities to create healthy, productive, skilled labor, preventing the kind of problems that domino from the poor on up to the elite.
3.) there are more but I'll cut it short for now with this: how dare anybody, I don't care if it's the United States or Mars, HOW DARE ANYBODY preach peace, freedom, and democracy, and in practice subvert every one of those beautiful and necessary ideals, in many cases invoking spiritual "manifest destiny" to gain the required popular support.
I'm just so disappointed in so many people who hold positions of influence over the masses. Snake-oil salesmen with a team behind them calculating their every move. WHAT THE HELL IS REAL ANYMORE?!
/rant (for now)
