Bosko Martinovic is a gifted guitarist from Belgrade, Serbia. Born on September 5th 1978, he didn't discover his interest in guitar playing until the age of 13, although his father often played guitar at home. Through private lessons and friendly competition with other neighborhood guitarists, Jazz Guitar department of "Stankovic" musical school in Belgrade, he slowly defined a style of his own and learned to enjoy many different kinds of music and styles of other musicians.
Sometime around 1999, Bosko got into his instrumental phase and recorded a demo cd with different kinds of instrumental guitar tracks in the following years. You can play some of them right here on this website. The idea was not to create music for guitarists, but to create guitar music for everyone. Let's not forget to thank a dear friend Vladimir Prljic, who taught Bosko how to really play this guitar of his, instead of simply playing with it.
At the same time, Bosko performed in the Capital of Serbia with several Belgrade pop-rock and blues-rocks bands, which did not 'survive' to this day, but he is now a part of another band that performs live in Belgrade.
This Bosko's band, named "She Knows", was formed in early 2006 but it was not before 2007 that this work became serious. "She Knows" repertoire are fresh and old cover songs from different bands, and the orientation is funk, pop, live disco, rock...or it's maybe better if we say that the style is a mix of those types of music.
Aside from being a musician, Bosko is an active web/corporate identity designer and greek and english language translator.
